The Circle Vases work with an adapted inlay technique which utilizes a press-mold to expedite the tedious carving portion of inlaid work. The majority of these works are made from stained porcelain and porcelain slip, though many are also pressed from stoneware.

Through this series, I am experimenting in surface and on the different applications of this press-molded form through different alterations. The first application has been in the form of function table-top and wall-mounted vases, though I plan to branch the series into lighting as well.
